Larry Thompson Obituary, Death – At the ThedaCare Medical Centre in New London, Larry A. Thompson, who was 68 years old and from Clintonville, passed suddenly unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 20, 2024. He was a patient there. Lawrence Alan Thompson, the eighth child of Harvey and Dorothy (Davison) Thompson, was born in Racine. He is the eighth kid overall. In total, he was the eighth child ranked. In 1973, he graduated from Clintonville High School and immediately enlisted in the United States Army.
He had completed his high school education at Clintonville High School. The 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, was where he served, and he did it with a great deal of pride. The two tours of service that he served in Germany provided him with a great deal of personal fulfilment, and he was discharged with honour in the year 1985. After having spent a considerable period of time working at FWD Seagrave and, later, Schutt Industries in Clintonville, Larry took his retirement in the year 2015.
In the year 1978, he was bestowed with two beautiful girls, Melissa and Melanie, who were born to him and his wife, Patty Rohde, whom he had married. Melissa and Melanie were wonderful daughters. Despite this, they eventually divorced after a long and happy marriage. For almost three decades, Larry and Penny Stueck were able to enjoy their lives together and take delight in the experiences they shared. The time that Larry spent with his extended family was something that he really cherished and cherished to the fullest extent. Whether it was going on horse trail rides, playing pool, or simply hanging out with his friends, Larry cherished and adored this time.
