Ghanaian teen sensation Kingsford Boakye Yiadom joins Italian giants AC Milan

Ghanaian youngster Kingsford Boakye Yiadom has secured a pre-contract with Italian giants AC Milan, after impressing scouts from the club with his performances at a lower division side MSK Zilina Africa.

The 18-year-old, who was part of Ghana’s successful Black Satellites squad that won both the WAFU Zone B Championship and the Africa Youth Championship in 2020 and 2021 respectively, left the country last Tuesday to finalise his move to Milan after successful negotiations.

Ansah has signed a long-term deal with the seven-time European champions and passed the first phase of his medicals in Ghana before his departure.

Although Ansah is expected to join Milan’s youth team initially, mainly the U-19 side, he will hope to establish himself as a key player and eventually impress manager Stefano Pioli enough to earn a place in the first team.

The Rosseneries have been monitoring Ansah’s progress for some time and were impressed with his rapid rise through the ranks at the Ghanaian lower division side. He is now eager to explore the highest echelon of football and make his mark with the Italian giants.
